Earlier in the year I helped put together a 4 part podcast series for the show Farmerama entitled “Landed” which explores the past, present and some possible futures of land in the Highlands and Islands, how we relate to it and how these relationships have changed over time. Using the provocation “the small family farm is a colonial concept” as a launch pad, the series investigates a range of seemingly disparate topics and ideas that are connected to land and how we use it and how it is “belonged”.
